Asbestos and Lead Both Contaminate Home

At a glance:

A Portsmouth NH family has not been allowed in their home since it was flooded in May, and probably won't be for some time. Toxic mold was suspected after the flood but what was found under the carpets was asbestos tile. 
 
The homeowner has a chronic condition that affects his immune system, so is barred from entering the home. 
 
A company specializing in mold and asbestos will clean up the home and FEMA and various organizations are helping, but the family remains in a trailer on their driveway, probably until fall.

PORTSMOUTH -- Janet Tucker and Scott Littlefield walked out of their house on Monday morning after the Mother's Day weekend floods "with the clothes on our back" -- and they haven't been back since.
 
What makes matters worse, they and their two children are living in a camper in the driveway of their Suzanne Drive home, looking out every day on the house they haven't been able to enter for six weeks
