RJ Reynolds wins smoking-death case
R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Co. Tuesday said it won a lawsuit seeking more than $10 million in damages for the death of smoker who died 11 years after she quit, in 2001.
The lawsuit, tried in U.S. District Court in Seattle, claimed that Carla Kimball developed lung cancer and died as a result of smoking Winston brand cigarettes. The lawsuit was filed by her husband
