At a glance:

Bausch & Lomb is hit with another lawsuit over its discontinued lens cleaner, ReNu with MoistureLoc. This one is by a Florida woman who needed two corneal transplants and is still experiencing symptoms from the Fusarium Keratitis infection. 
 
She claims defective product design and inadequate warnings concerning the risks of using the ReNu cleaner. 
 
Bausch & Lomb has withdrawn the product from market but the lawsuits are piling up, some personal and some class action. The company says it will evaluate each lawsuit on its own merits.

PALM COAST -- Susan Nettles started wearing contact lenses in October 2005.
 
By January, the local woman developed a fungal infection in her right eye so severe it required two corneal transplant operations
