New Anti Smoking Pill Approved

Pfizer's new stop-smoking pill, Chantix, has been approved by the FDA and is set to hit the market later this year. 
 
It is nicotine-free, and works by reducing withdrawal symptoms and reducing the pleasure of smoking.

WASHINGTON, DC (KNX) -- Drug manufacturing giant Pfizer has been given a green light by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration to market a pill to help smokers quit their habit.
 
Several studies in Europe have shown the pill to be effective in helping more than one in five smokers to quit
