Coral Springs woman leads class action suit against Bausch & Lomb
A Bausch & Lomb contact lens solution is responsible for causing some of its users to be afflicted with a rare, painful fungal eye infection, according to a lawsuit filed in Fort Lauderdale federal court.
Rochelle Feld, 52, of Coral Springs, is the lead plaintiff in a class action lawsuit filed on May 31 by The Hodkin Kopelowitz Ostrow Firm. Feld was afflicted with a severe eye infection known as Fusarium keratitis after using ReNu with MoistureLoc in October, her attorney says. Feld's condition -- irritation, light sensitivity and corneal damage -- was treated with antibiotics and steroid therapies. The lawyers did not list a specific amount being sought
