Jury Hears Victim's Taped Deposition

At a glance:

The trial continues in a South Carolina suit against WalMart for negligence in hiring a registered sex offender who molested a ten year old girl in the store in 2000. 
 
The offender pled guilty and has since died in prison. 
 
The victim, now 16, was interviewed on tape for the trial.

The 10-year-old girl was looking for a CD by the late R&B star Aaliyah when Bobby Devon Randall bumped into her from behind in the Forest Drive Wal-Mart supercenter.
 
In a videotaped deposition played Wednesday for Richland County jurors, the girl said the initial encounter with Randall, then 44, the evening of Sept. 25, 2000, didn’t bother her at first
