Chicago Man Sues Over Hepatitis B from Transplant Tissue

Chicago Suit Says Man Got Hepatitis From Stolen Body Tissue

CHICAGO (STNG) -- A man claiming he was the recipient of stolen body tissue, resulting in Hepatitis B, filed a lawsuit in Cook County Circuit Court Friday.
 
Adeeb Yousif claims in the five-count suit that Biomedical Tissue Services (BTS) sold him stolen tissue for his surgery that led to Hepatitis B contraction, and he now has “a potentially incurable infectious disease.”
