Wisconsin Law to Limit Malpractice Pain and Suffering Damages

The State of Wisconsin continues to try to put a cap on pain and suffering damages in malpractice lawsuits.
 
The maximum proposed in the current legislation signed by the Governor is $750,000. The hope is that it is large enough to be upheld in the state Supreme Court but low enough to keep health insurance premiums affordable.
