Nursing Home Negligence Verdict: $20 Million

FRANKFORT, Ky. - The estate of a man whose daughter said his pleas for help were ignored at a nursing home won a $20 million jury award Thursday.
 
The estate of Loren Richards, 84, had sought $159 million in compensatory and punitive damages after he died March 2, 2002, at Beverly Health and Rehabilitation of Frankfort
