Sherman to appeal verdict
Originally diagnosed as colic, it was a congenital heart defect that ultimately led to baby Uriel Delavega's death in 1997.
The baby, brought to Sherman Hospital by his mother, was misdiagnosed by the emergency room doctor and died in another hospital the following day.
A jury awarded Uriel's parents $2.5 million. The Sherman Hospital
