Lawsuit Filed Against Former Utah Heart Surgeon

A lawsuit is under way against Dr. Constantinos Lovoulos, formerly a cardiac surgeon at Ogden Regional Medical Center in Utah. 
 
Four heart surgery patients died there in a four-month period early in 2004, causing the hospital to halt heart surgeries for a year, and the doctor in question to return to Greece. 
 
The family of one of the other patients has hired legal counsel as well. 
 
The hospital claims the number of deaths is within accepted norms.


Second Family Hires Lawyer In Heart Patient Deaths

OGDEN The family of one of four patients who died during a four-month period after heart surgery at the Ogden Regional Medical Center has filed suit and the family of another of the patients has hired a lawyer.
 
The deaths of the four patients in early 2004 prompted the hospital to impose a 10-month moratorium on cardiac surgery
