A Michigan woman is suing an East Lansing plastic surgeon because of complications after a liposuction and "tummy tuck". 
 
The woman suffered problems regarding closure of her wound and severe pain; after several months of unsuccessful treatment by the surgeon she consulted another doctor who prescribed the appropriate antibiotic, but she is left with pain. 
 
The State is examining this and three other cases of complications following surgery by the same doctor.

What started out as a routine cosmetic procedure, has turned into a nightmare for one Michigan woman. Imagine going to the doctor for what appears to be a routine procedure and walking away scarred for life. That's exactly what one woman says happened to her after visiting an East Lansing plastic surgeon.
 
Victoria Michael is like a lot of women. After giving birth to two children, she was having trouble getting her old figure back. Two years ago, she decided to do something about it
