Baby's Death Blamed on Too-Busy Hospital

At a glance:

A couple in Manchester, England blames St. Mary's Hospital there for the death of one of their twin babies, and the multiple organ problems of the other. 
 
Because of a high risk pregnancy, a C-section was scheduled but later postponed for a day, allegedly because of other emergencies in the hospital. By the time the C-section took place, no heartbeat was detected and only one of the twin girls could be revived. However even that baby suffered organ damage including possible brain damage and the extent of her disability is unknown. 
 
An investigation is underway.

HOSPITAL delays have been blamed for the tragic death of an unborn baby twin after a vital caesarean operation was put back 24 hours.
 
Medical notes reveal how the baby girl died and her twin suffered multiple organ failure when their birth was delayed while busy medics dealt with other emergencies
