British Airways Faces Class Action Suit over Fuel Surcharge Fixing

A Washington law firm is heading up a class action lawsuit against British Airways, claiming that the airline conspired with Virgin Airways to fix fuel surcharges on transatlantic routes.

British Airways is said to be the subject of a US class-action lawsuit by Washington firm Cohen, Milstein, Hausfeld & Toll (CMH&T), drawn up in the wake of the investigation into alleged price-fixing on long-haul routes.
 
The suit was filed on 23 June in New York, according to business daily newspaper Financial Times
