Roofing Company Sued in West Virginia

The Attorney General of West Virginia is suing Mountaineer Roofing and Siding, a hurricane roofing company, for failure to complete work, a violation of the West Virginia Consumer Credit and Protection Act.  
 
There have been 21 consumer complaints against the company since 2001. The State has also requested a list of the company's customers and an order for the company to stop operating until the matter is resolved. 
 
Complainants allege they paid thousands of dollars for work that was never done.


McGraw files suit against Hurricane roofer

CHARLESTON - West Virginia Attorney General Darrell McGraw has filed a lawsuit against a Hurricane roofing company with the hope of proving it is in violation of the West Virginia Consumer Credit and Protection Act.
 
McGraw filed the lawsuit May 17 in Kanawha Circuit Court against Mountaineer Roofing and Siding and owner Dana Sanders
