Former UM star claims insurance fraud
Houston Texans wide receiver Andre Johnson, a former University of Miami football star, is suing an insurance company and agent, claiming he was duped into signing up for $43 million in needless policies that are costing him $375,000 in annual premiums.
"False representations were made to my client, inducing him to purchase insurance that he did not need," said Mark F. Raymond, managing partner of law firm Broad & Cassel in Miami. "The agent lied to Mr. Johnson and took advantage of him in order to receive large commissions on the sale of
