Online Prozac Order May be Linked to Teen Suicide

Less than 10 days after purchasing an online prescription, a 19 year old Texas youth committed suicide, and the parents are suing the online pharmacy and the 'doctor' who prescribed the medication.
 
John McKay logged into USAnetRX.com and filled out a questionaire. He then provided his credit card and received the medications in the mail a few days later. The doctor, psychiatrist Christian Hageseth III, received John's questionaire and filled the prescription despite the fact that his license was suspended for an improper relationship with a patient.


Parents sue online pharmacy, doctor.

Last summer, just after his freshman year at Stanford, the nationally known debate champ from Menlo-Atherton High School bought a generic version of Prozac from an Internet site believed to be based in Texas.
 
He never told his parents. Less than seven weeks later, on Aug. 2, McKay killed him
