Monoclonal Antibody Drug Being Tested for Ovarian Cancer

Morphotek gets key FDA designation for drug

The Food and Drug Administration has granted orphan drug status to an experimental drug being developed by Morphotek Inc. to treat ovarian cancer.
 
Known as Morab-003, the drug -- a humanized monoclonal antibody -- is in midstage clinical testing.
