Tests may tell whether school in OC linked to cancer rates
The Board of Education is investigating whether environmental contamination at the primary school might be to blame for a rash of cancer cases among staff there.
The district hired an environmental firm to take air tests throughout the school Saturday, Acting Superintendent David Moyer said. The firm will test various parts of the school, particularly classrooms where teachers diagnosed with cancer worked, he said.
