Yokohama Sued for SUV Wreck

Yokohama Tires has been sued by the families of three young men killed in a South Carolina car wreck last year. 
 
The three, all Citadel cadets, were riding in an SUV when it crashed. The lawsuit alleges that the tires were inherently defective and that the vehicle had been properly maintained.

The families of three Citadel cadets killed in a vehicle accident last fall are suing the maker of the automobile's tires, contending that a flaw in the manufacturing process caused the wreck.
 
The accident that claimed the lives of Blake Alexander Campbell, Clarke Gibert Russell and Brett Mitchell Warren occurred Sept. 10 as the cadets were in a sport utility vehicle on Interstate 95 in Dorchester County.
