Chicago Man Sues Over Injuries Sustained in Corporate Jet Airplane Crash

A Chicago man is suing an aircraft operator and owners, pilot and co-pilot for injuries and damages relating to a corporate jet airplane crash that left him with a broken arm, broken wrist and other injuries. Rory Murphy cited improper safety certificates, inadequate safety training programs and inept flight attendants among the issues in the airplane crash lawsuit. If the defendents are found to be liable, Mr. Murphy may collect money for medical costs incurred as well as pain and suffering.

The Canadair CL-600 Chal lenger crashed on Feb. 2, 2005, when it failed to lift off from the runway and shot across Route 46 during the morning rush hour. The airplane clipped one car on the highway before it slammed into a warehouse.
 
There were 11 passengers and crew members on board when the aircraft, bound for Chicago's Midway Airport, crashed shortly before 7:30 a.m.
