Lawsuit Against Fuel Company for Fire at Zoo

An oil company has been sued in Traverse City, Michigan, over an accident that occurred in the city zoo last summer.

TRAVERSE CITY — Two passengers who were hurt last summer when the city's miniature train struck and ignited a fuel hose sued the oil company that made the fuel delivery.
 
William Parrish of Traverse City and his teenage grandson, Joshua Chapin of Howell, were riding in the first car behind the train engine last August when the train ran over a diesel fuel hose. The hose was laid across the tracks as Schmuckal Oil Co. employee Harvey Core delivered fuel to a nearby tank, the suit states
