Train Wreck Victim's Family to Sue

At a glance:

The family of a Mississippi man who was killed when a train hit his car at a level crossing, will sue the county and the town as well as CN Rail and Amtrak, for $1 million. 
 
The crossing had only a sign but no crossing gates or warning lights at the time of the accident in March 2006. 
 
Warning lights were in the process of being approved and have since been activated, along with crossing gates at the site.

The family of a Terry man who died in a train wreck in March has filed notice of intent to sue for more than $1 million.
 
Hinds County, the town of Terry, railroad company CN and Amtrak are all named in the letter of intent
