Wrongful Death Lawsuits Filed Over Private Plane Crash

Two wrongful death lawsuits have now been filed concerning the death of an Arkansas man last year, one by each of his parents. 
 
Christopher Blanchard died with several others in a private plane crash.  
 
Both lawsuits allege pilot negligence, and the second also alleges mechanical failure and includes Beech Aircraft and Pratt & Whitney as defendants.

A Baton Rouge woman has filed a wrongful death lawsuit in U.S. District Court in the death of her son in an airplane crash in June 2005 near New Roads.
 
This is the second wrongful death suit filed on behalf of Christopher Blanchard of Jonesboro, Ark., who died June 23, 2005, when the Beechcraft KingAir F-90 twin-engine airplane in which he was a passenger crashed

My father was killed in a plane crash in 1963. I was not born at the time ,do the statue of limitations apply to me. Thanks
